Anand Gopal, Times of India, Penn SUMR Program
Anand Gopal, a 2012 LDI Summer Undergraduate Minority Research Scholar, has an article in the Times of India detailing his SUMR experiences. Gopal is a member of the Penn Life Sciences and Management Class of 2013 and was mentored this summer by LDI Senior Fellows Zachary Meisel and Scott Halpern. Anand worked with Dr. Halpern on a review of the design of randomized clinical trials in hospital intensive care units, and with Dr. Meisel on a study of narrative technique as a tool for improving clinician-patient communications in the emergency room.
