A new medication adherence study by LDI Senior Fellows David Asch and Kevin Volpp using electronically-tethered drug vials and cash lotteries is the subject of a MedCity News article. Asch, MD, MBA, is the Executive Director of the Penn Medicine Center for Innovation; Volpp, MD, PhD, is Executive Director of the LDI Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics. Their work on the remote-monitoring study is funded by a $4.8 Million federal grant.
