Linda Aiken, Huffington Post, Nurse Burnout
LDI Senior Fellow Linda Aiken's latest nursing research is the subject of a major article in the Huffington Post. Aiken, PhD, RN, led a team at Penn's School of Nursing's Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research in a study that linked the rate of nurse burnout to the rate of some hospital-acquired infections. The study was published in the August issue of the American Journal of Infection Control. Aiken is the Director of the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research and a professor at the School of Nursing.
