Barbara Medoff-Cooper, CHOP News, Nurse Scientist Award
LDI Senior Fellow Barbara Medoff-Cooper, PhD, CRNP, FAAN, RN, has received the 2012 Outstanding Nurse Scientist Award from the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science, according to CHOP News. The Council is the country's leading scientific organization for nurse-scientists. Medoff-Cooper's research focuses on infant development, feeding behaviors in high-risk infants and infant temperament. She is Professor of Pediatric Nursing at Penn's School of Nursing and Chair of Pediatric Nursing at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
