Brian Strom Keynotes Asian Pharmacoepidemiology Conference
LDI Senior Fellow Brian Strom is a keynote speaker at this week's 7th Asian
Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology in Bangalore, India. Strom, MD, MPH and Executive Vice Dean for Institutional Affairs at Penn's Perelman School of Medicine, will speak on the use of trial design for comparative effectiveness research.

The theme of the annual gathering that runs from Oct. 26 through Oct. 28 is "Medication Safety and Effectiveness: Building Evidence Through Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice."
Strom is also Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Professor of Biostatistics & Epidemiology, and Founding Director of the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB).
