Appointments to LDI Through Three Fellow Tracks

LDI's mission is to initiate and stimulate multidisciplinary research and scholarly investigation in the management, organization, financing, and delivery of health care. This mission is achieved through the scholarly efforts of its faculty, trainees, and staff, and the programmatic resources available to the institute. Therefore, it is critical to define our membership base and we do so through three appointment tracks.

  • SENIOR FELLOWS: For University of Pennsylvania faculty investigators (e.g., MDs and PhDs) who have an established or emerging track record of research on topics directly connected to LDI's health policy and health systems mission.
    Criteria for Appointment     Application

  • ADJUNCT SENIOR FELLOWS: Investigators who advance the strategic goals of LDI, but do not have a Penn or CHOP primary affiliation. Applications by invitation only.

  • FELLOWS: For trainees at the University of Pennsylvania or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) with established or emerging track records in the field of health policy or health systems research, or specialized training in a related field, and are mentored by LDI Senior Fellows.
