The COVID outbreak is an all-out assault on our health and economic wellbeing. The U.S. needs an all-in strategy to recover from this pandemic and plan for future ones. In this talk, Dr. Conti will present new empirical economic work to inform COVID-related policymaking and future research efforts.

Rena Conti, PhD is an Associate Professor of Markets, Public Policy, and Law at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Dr. Conti is Associate Research Director of Biopharma & Public Policy for the Boston University Institute for Health System Innovation & Policy. From 2006 to 2018, Conti was an Associate Professor of Health Economics and Policy at the University of Chicago Medical School and the Harris School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on the organization, financing, and regulation of medical care. She has written extensively on the pricing, demand, and supply of prescription drugs.
