
Sam Schotland, MA
Sam Schotland is a Policy Analyst at Penn LDI. Prior to joining LDI, he studied the history of health care workers’ emotions and its implications for contemporary health policy. His writing has appeared (or is forthcoming) in the New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, the Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences, STAT News, and the Washington Post. He holds a Bachelor's in History and a Master’s in Medical Science from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master’s in History from Yale University.
