Penn Led International Action Collaborative to Address Global Healthcare Workforce Shortages and Hospital Patient Safety

Penn Nursing’s Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR) is convening leaders from Penn hospitals, health system executives, researchers and innovators, Penn Global, Penn LDI, and the International Council of Nurses (ICN) for an international symposium showcasing the impact of the Penn Nursing led Magnet4Europe initiative in over 130 hospitals in 7 countries. Magnet4Europe is an exemplar of Penn’s unique university–health system partnership. The program will be introduced by Kevin Mahoney, CEO of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and will include ICN CEO Howard Catton and Associate Director David Stewart, along with Penn researchers and nurses from Penn hospitals.
