Amelia E. Van Pelt, MPH, is a second-year doctoral student in Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Her research focuses on infectious diseases in lowresource settings, especially vaccine-preventable diseases and global health contexts. Her skills extend from laboratory sciences to statistical analyses, as she has collaborated with academic, government, and not-for-profit organizations. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish & Global Health, Culture, and Society, a certificate in Leadership, and a Master of Public Health Degree in Global Health from Emory University.
