Kathryn Riman

Predoctoral Fellow, Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research, School of Nursing

Kathryn Riman is a third-year predoctoral fellow in the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at Penn Nursing. Drs. Linda Aiken and Eileen Lake are her primary mentors. Her research focuses on examining organizational characteristics and policies and their relationships to pediatric patient outcomes. She serves as a student representative on the AcademyHealth Committee on Advocacy and Public Policy. Her undergraduate training includes a Bachelor's degree in both Public Health and Nursing from Rutgers University. Riman has extensive exposure to both research and policy with internships at the National Institutes of Health, United States Senate, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
