Nora Becker, MD, PhD is a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Brigham & Women's. She received her MD/PhD in the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Health Care Management and the Perelman School of Medicine. Her dissertation examined the impact of laws that changed insurance coverage of contraceptives on women's health outcomes. As a health policy researcher she studies the impact of changes in insurance coverage and provider payments on patient outcomes and provider behavior. She received her bachelors in Public Policy from Pomona College in 2007. Before coming to Penn, Nora worked as a staffer on Barack Obama's presidential campaign and then as an administrative assistant in the White House.
