Dr. Keren is a Professor of Pediatrics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and an attending physician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He is the Vice President of Quality and Chief Quality Officer at CHOP. His Office of Clinical Quality Improvement leads multiple initiatives focused on delivering high quality and high value care to children and their families. Previously, he was the founder and director of the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness, a center of emphasis at the CHOP Research Institute. Dr. Keren finds inspiration for his research questions and quality improvement projects from his work caring for children hospitalized on CHOP’s general pediatric inpatient service.
