Salini Mohanty is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Family and Community Health in the School of Nursing. Her research focuses on vaccine hesitancy—specifically around childhood and adolescent immunizations. Her previous research experience includes evaluating community-based interventions to improve vaccine uptake, and examining the impact of vaccine hesitancy in pediatric healthcare settings. Dr. Mohanty received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry (BS) from the University of Pittsburgh, her master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from Thomas Jefferson University and earned her doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) from the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University.
