Stephen Miranda, MD is a resident physician in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is interested in advancing neuro-palliative care, implementing care pathways to support shared decision-making, and developing patient-centered quality metrics in neurosurgery.
Dr. Miranda is currently a member of the 2021–2023 cohort of the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has previously worked as a research fellow at Ariadne Labs, a joint center for health systems innovation at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Miranda received his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
