Stuart Craig is a 5th year PhD student in the department of Health Care Management, where he studies bargaining in business-to-business markets. His research explores price negotiations between hospitals, insurers, and medical device manufacturers, with a particular focus on the consequences of mergers and acquisitions. This work has been featured in media outlets including the New York Times, NPR Marketplace, and Vox. His dissertation explores search frictions and pricing behavior in the market for employer sponsored health insurance.
