Andre Rosario, BSN, RN-BC is a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, where he studies nurse migration and the exploitation of foreign-educated nurses in the U.S. He uses a historical approach in order to connect nurse migration to other issues such as workforce policy and regulation. Rosario’s advisors are Julie Fairman, PhD, RN, FAAN, and Dalmacio Dennis Flores, PhD, ACRN.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Rosario earned his BSN at Penn and worked as a Clinical Nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also participated in the Nursing Quality and Patient Safety Core Council.
