Ashley Trocle, MPH

Ashley Trocle is a PhD student in Epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Her research focuses on social and spatial epidemiology, with an emphasis on community-based approaches to injury and violence prevention. She previously worked with the Center for Global Health at the Perelman School of Medicine and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Rwanda, where she contributed to community health initiatives. Before beginning her doctoral studies, Trocle worked in philanthropy, supporting programs dedicated to injury and violence prevention in Philadelphia. She earned both her Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
