Colin Adamo, PhD

Colin Adamo, PhD is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Penn Collaborative for CBT and Implementation Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Adamo’s clinical research is focused on using the digital tools that shape our lives to make mental health resources more accessible, equitable, and effective for underserved populations. This has spanned a broad array of issues including risk and resiliency factors for suicide in military families, HIV prevention in families that include young gay and bisexual men, relationship distress interventions in low-income families, and mobile applications that treat psychiatric disorders. He is excited to forge a career supporting systems, communities, providers, and individuals to engage with innovative tools and approaches that promote well-being. Dr. Adamo earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah in 2022. He completed his APA internship at the Department of Psychiatry in the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania.
