Erin Bange, MD is a fellow in hematology and oncology at the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center and is a Master’s candidate in Clinical Epidemiology. Her long-term goal is to be an independent investigator working at the interface of population science, pragmatic clinical trials, and implementation science to develop and test programs aimed at improving quality of life through the strategic use of technology as well as care models that connect the home, community, and clinic. Her research thus far has focused on understanding the time burden associated with cancer treatment as well as developing innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of cancer care. She is currently supported by an ASCO Young Investigator Award to develop and test a novel e-triage system to streamline care for patients with advanced cancer on immunotherapy.
