Erin Kennedy, BSN, RN is a Ruth L. Kirschstein Individualized NRSA predoctoral fellow, Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation, and previously a T32 doctoral research fellow at NewCourtland Center for Transitions and health. Her research interests include development and implementation of healthcare technology solutions to improve clinical decision making at the point of care. Her dissertation will examine a clinical decision support system and develop a natural language processing algorithm for discharge planning among older adults to elucidate post-acute care referral decision making. She graduated with her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2019.
