Hisham Valiuddin, DO

Hisham M. Valiuddin, DO is pursuing an Administration, Operations, and Leadership Fellowship in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). He is also completing the Executive MBA program at The Wharton School. He currently serves as the Assistant Medical Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine at HUP, where he provides expertise in strategic operations for hospital committees, including implementation of innovative workflows and novel technologies to increase health care access and quality.

Dr. Valiuddin focuses on improving health care delivery and systems, with a keen interest in health care leadership, finance, and innovation. He is passionate about developing world-class health care organizations and creating value for patients and stakeholders. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented at numerous national conferences on the topics of impactful health care transformation and improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Valiuddin attended medical school at LECOM Bradenton before completing an Emergency Medicine residency at Trinity Health St. Mary Mercy Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.
