Kayla Baker, MSN, CRNP is a predoctoral student at Penn Nursing doing a dual degree program which includes a Master’s in Bioethics through the Perelman School of Medicine in the Department of Medical Ethics. Baker’s research interests are in palliative care, psychedelics, and ethics. She worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA as an oncology nurse prior to relocating to Philadelphia. She received her Bachelor ‘s and Master’s of Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she had the opportunity to teach and collaborate on research projects, which established an interest in pursuing a career in nursing research and ethics.
