Lan Chi (Krysti) Vo, MD

Lan Chi (Krysti) Vo, MD is a nationally recognized expert on telehealth and digital health. Her research mission is to develop evidence-based digital health interventions to improve outcomes. Her immediate focus is to develop digital health products for suicide risk screening of children and adolescents in primary care, and to connect those at risk to mental health care.

Dr. Vo has received research support from federal sources and nonprofit foundations. She has received over 20 awards, including from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the American Psychiatric Association (APA), and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP). She was previously the John E. Schowalter Resident on Council (Board of Directors) of AACAP. Her experiences in technology include consulting with eClinicalWorks and APA PsychPRO Registry, developing digital health startups, and participating in a fellowship with Mount Sinai Innovation Partners. She currently serves on the AACAP Health Information Technology Committee and the Telepsychiatry Committee, and previously served on APA Committee on Mental Health Technology. In her free time, she enjoys providing clinical and business development expertise to startup health tech companies through her consultant work. She also serves as an Advisor for DreamIT Ventures, a fund and growth program focused on startups with revenue or pilots that are ready to scale.
