Maura Dougherty, MSN, CRNA is a doctoral student in the School of Nursing and a predoctoral fellow in the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR). Her research interests include health policy in relation to advanced practice nurses and the impact of nursing on patient outcomes. Her mentors in CHOPR include Drs. Matthew McHugh and Karen Lasater.

Dougherty received her Masters of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Wake Forest University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University.
