Mei-Lynn Hua is a doctoral student in the Health Care Management and Economics PhD program at the Wharton School. Broadly, her research interests lie in studying the design and regulation of health insurance markets and how to use incentives to promote quality and value in healthcare. She is especially interested in evaluating government programs, their distributional effects, and unintended consequences so that we can better design public policies to support vulnerable populations. Prior to Wharton, Hua was a pre-doctoral research fellow at Stanford Health Policy.
