Parasteh Malihi is a DMD/ML candidate in the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. During her undergraduate career, Malihi conducted research exploring working memory capacity and errors following interruptions, which led to a publication in the Journal of Applied Research in Memory and Cognition. Her research interests have grown to include dental health and medical decision making. As a scholar in Penn LDI’s SUMR Program, she analyzed ICU data to identify behavioral patterns of health care providers under the mentorship of Dr. Krzysztof Laudanski.
