Sneha Thatipelli, MD

Sneha Thatipelli, MD is an infectious disease fellow at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Thatipelli’s clinical interests include general infectious disease with an emphasis on the HIV care continuum. She hopes to work towards improving the health of safety net populations with an interest in combatting health disparities. She plans to pursue this interest to study the impact of health policy to prevent HIV and Hepatitis C in high risk populations.

She was born in India and grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. She attended medical school at UCSF. Dr. Thatipelli completed her residency at Northwestern, where she stayed on as the Chief Resident of Equity and Advocacy. Thatipelli is currently pursuing her Master’s of Science in Health Policy Research.
