Subin Na is a PhD student in Social Welfare at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice. She examines peer support, stigma and discrimination, and help-seeking in mental health care. She also studies culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health services and disparities in access to care among racial and ethnic minority populations. Her methodological approach includes machine learning, structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, qualitative methods, and systematic review and meta-analysis. Her work aims to identify the individual, organizational, and policy factors that influence access to high-quality mental health care and to inform more equitable systems of care.
