Tyler Rainer, MD is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is a student in the Master’s of Science in Health Policy program and in the Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Research program as the CHIPS Health Equity Improvement Scholar. She plans to pursue a career focused on health equity, quality, and patient safety. She hopes help proactively design more equitable systems to provide high value care and improve patient experience in pediatric emergency medicine.

Dr. Rainer worked at The Rockefeller University, where she became interested in bioethics and community partnership. She received an MD from Temple University of School of Medicine, and completed pediatric training in the Leadership in Equity and Advocacy (LEAD) Track of the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident.
