  • Postdoctoral Fellow, Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research, Penn Nursing

Victoria Winogora, PhD, RN, is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR) at Penn Nursing. Her research focuses on end-of-life care for individuals with cognitive disabilities and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). For her PhD dissertation, conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Patricia Stone, she utilized CMS, MDS, and Hospice RIF data to explore differences in hospice enrollment and hospice care, including location of death, for individuals with cognitive disability and ADRD. Though her work is largely quantitative, she has participated in multiple qualitative projects focused on end-of-life care, and several informatics studies. As a postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Winogora plans to expand her research by investigating how staffing impacts end-of-life care, particularly for individuals with ADRD, across multiple care settings.

Dr. Winogora received her PhD from Columbia University and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania.
