Yeon Soo Baik, PhD, MPH is a Research Associate in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Baik has studied TB/HIV epidemiology in resource-limited settings applying advanced epidemiologic methods, including prediction and mathematical modeling, geospatial, multilevel and cost-effectiveness analysis, and molecular epidemiology. Her research has focused on identifying TB transmission routes and promoting timely diagnosis of TB, which contributes to improving the TB control measures. She is expanding her expertise in implementation science in the epidemiology and global health context so that she can contribute effectively to the integration of evidence into practice to improve patient outcomes and, ultimately, population health.
