Kevin Volpp, CNBC, 'Smart' Pill Bottles

LDI Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics (CHIBE) Director and LDI Senior Fellow Kevin Volpp is the subject of a CNBC video report highlighting U.S. cities with the most innovative improvements in health, lifestyle and work environments. Part of the network's "Innovation Cities" series, the report focuses on CHIBE's research of behavioral economics methods to improve medicinal adherence including the use of "smart" pill bottles and cash incentives.

Volpp, MD, PhD, is a professor of both medicine at Penn's Perelman School of Medicine and health care management at The Wharton School.
