In May 2025, a Research Memo featuring research conducted by LDI Executive Director Rachel M. Werner, MD, PhD and LDI Senior Fellows Eric T. Roberts, PhD, Atheendar Venkataramani, MD, PhD, Paula Chatterjee, MD, MPH, Norma Coe, PhD, Molly Candon, PhD, Emily F. Gregory, MD, MHS, Margaret Lowenstein, MD, MPhil, MSHP, and Aditi Vasan, MD, MSHP was presented to staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance.
The memo contained research on various aspects of Medicaid such as work requirements, the long-term care workforce, pregnancy care, and coverage for children.
