The Health and Incarceration working group serves as an intellectual home for scholars examining health care delivery, health outcomes, and health policy across prisons, jails, immigration detention, and community reentry. The working group provides a forum for collaboration and dissemination of research at the intersection of incarceration and health.

- Connect faculty, staff, trainees, and community partners
- Support the development of interdisciplinary research projects and grant applications
- Facilitate the sharing of data, methods, and works in progress
- Mentor emerging investigators
- Promote the translation of evidence into improvements in health care delivery and public policy
