SUMR 15 Scholars and Their Faculty Mentors

Photos From The Presentation Seminar Finale

A key benefit of the annual Summer Undergraduate Minority Research (SUMR) Program is the pairing of each scholar with a university faculty mentor involved in ongoing health services research projects. Along with the hands-on research opportunity, the arrangement also provides the student with an intimate, real-world experience of daily life in an academic community of research scholars and their teams. The 2015 program ended in the traditional three days of seminar presentations by each of the SUMR scholars, some of whom worked on two research projects during the three-month program. Below are photos of those scholars with their mentors and research team members.
