Chief of Penn Medicine's Division of General Internal Medicine, Judith Long, MD, has served as a mentor for SUMR scholars. As Co-Director of the Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) at Philadelphia's Crescenz VA Medical Center she also continues that Center's long-time funding support for SUMR.
