LDI Fellows Workshop: Using Large Language Models (LLMs) for Health Services Research

Open only to LDI Fellows

10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. March 26, 2025 In-Person Event

Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, Room 1201, 3620 Locust Walk

This workshop will explore some of the many ways that Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT4 can be used for data collection and analysis. LLM-based chatbots can conduct interviews. Python or R code for data analysis can often be easily generated from English descriptions. For text analysis, LLMs can replace traditional methods such as using hand-build word collections (lexica) or machine-learned models or even human annotators. LLMs can help with many aspects of writing. But fear not; you will not be replaced soon.
