Merative™ MarketScan® Research Databases Overview – Part 1
Open to Penn affiliates
This workshop will give a broad overview of the MarketScan data licensed to Penn LDI. The first session will focus on introducing each component of this package and then drilling down into the core databases and weights.
After this training, the participants will have the ability to describe the various MarketScan databases available to Penn affiliates; describe the basic organization and key data elements of the core data; understand the nuances of the data versions to help determine what versions meet their analytic needs for a given study/project; and understand how to use the projection weights with the Commercial and Medicare data.
Merative™ MarketScan® Research Databases Overview – Part 2 will take place on November 14, 2025 from 12:00–1:30 p.m.
