Caitlin (Cat) Russell, PhD, MBE, is the track director for the Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She has worked in clinical practice as an emergency department nurse and as a women’s health nurse practitioner. Dr. Russell served in the Army from 2006 to 2013 and is interested in addressing the health inequities faced by women who are currently serving or who have previously served in the military. She is especially interested in researching perinatal mental health, reproductive health care, and health care disparities in this population.
