Christina Parisi, PhD, MPH

Christina Parisi, PhD, MPH is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Penn Center for Mental Health under the mentorship of Dr. Molly Candon and Dr. Rebecca Stewart. Her current work focuses on evaluating new crisis response services in Philadelphia using quantitative and qualitative research methods in collaboration with Community Behavioral Health and the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services. She is interested in understanding how social determinants of health impact mental health care engagement and outcomes and determining ways to bridge gaps caused by health disparities. She is experienced in substance use and infectious diseases research, mixed-methods research designs, and translational science. Her research has been funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
Dr. Parisi received her MPH in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from Yale University, and her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Florida.
