Eleanor Turi, PhD is a Research Associate in the Department of Family and Community Health at Penn Nursing. Her research focuses on improving access to low-barrier health care for people who use drugs, with a particular emphasis on wound care delivery. She works to support and strengthen the nursing workforce serving this population, aiming to reduce stigma and enhance care quality through evidence-based practices. Dr. Turi applies implementation science, mixed methods, and health services research to identify and scale effective interventions that meet the complex needs of marginalized communities. Her work bridges clinical practice and policy, contributing to more equitable and responsive health care systems. Dr. Turi earned her PhD from Columbia University School of Nursing.
