Elise Parrish (she/her) is a PhD student in Sociology. Her work focuses on care arrangements for adults with long-term care needs as well as other topics in population health, aging, and disability. Parrish is also interested in regional differences in access to care, the history of (de)institutionalization, and quantitative methods. Before her studies at Penn, Parrish provided research support for an econometrician at the University of Chicago and later did program evaluation work for Texas Adult Protective Services in Austin.
