Emma Cho, PhD, RN is a T32 Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Penn Nursing in the NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health training program in Individualized Care for At Risk Older Adults, sponsored by the National Institute of Nursing Research. Dr. Cho’s dissertation research focused on loneliness and physical activity in older adults with diabetes. She has conducted quantitative studies and her research focuses on identifying the prevalence of loneliness, and risk factors for loneliness. Her clinical experience includes acute and critical care in the adult population. Dr. Cho received her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing and a BSN in Nursing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
