George Lin (he/him) is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology. His research explores how housing and economic policies shape child and adolescent mental health, particularly among low-income and racially marginalized families. He is broadly interested in the social determinants of health, youth development, and the integration of mental health services across clinical, school, and community settings.
Lin’s work draws on interdisciplinary frameworks from clinical psychology, population health, and social policy. He leverages longitudinal data and administrative records to examine how interventions affect psychological well-being over time. He is especially interested in how systems such as housing, Medicaid, and public education interact to influence access to care, trajectories of psychopathology, and family stress.
His current research uses data from the PHLHousing+ Study, a randomized controlled trial of housing assistance in Philadelphia, to examine how changes in housing stability affect youth mental health outcomes and service utilization.
