Margaret Eby, PhD is a Fellow in the Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications (ELSI) of Genetics and Genomics in the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy. Her work explores the legitimization of new sciences, from the evolution of early 20th century eugenics to artificial intelligence. Eby received her PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2024. She has previously worked as a Program Coordinator at NYU Langone Medical Center researching the role of socioeconomic disparities in dietary decision making.
