Vincent Reina, PhD, MBA is an Associate Professor of Planning and Urban Economics, and is the Faculty Director of the Housing Initiative at Penn. His research focuses on urban economics, low-income housing policy, household mobility, neighborhood change, and community and economic development. This work explores housing as a determinant of health, disparities in access to housing assistance and the implications for health equity, and particularly focuses on the impact of racism and discrimination in housing on health outcomes. Dr. Reina was the Dean’s Distinguished Visiting Professor at Penn Nursing, a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, a Lincoln Institute for Land Policy Scholar, and the recipient of the Rising Scholar award by the Associate of Collegiate Schools of Planning.
