Financial Toxicity of Cancer Care
Many researchers work to reduce the substantial adverse effects of cancer treatment on the body and the mind, but alumnus Scott Ramsey, MD, PhD has devoted his attention to its effects on the wallet. This physician-economist directs the Hutchinson Institute of Cancer Outcomes Research at the University of Washington. He's profiled in depth here.
