Lauren Eberly, MD, MPH is a cardiovascular fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her MD from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2015, her MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2019, and completed the Doris and Howard Hiatt Residency in Global Health Equity and Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). As a Global Health Equity Resident, Dr. Eberly has worked with Partners in Health in Rwanda and Liberia to support health systems strengthening, assisting with implementation of a nurse-driven care delivery model for noncommunicable diseases. As former co-chair for the BWH Internal Medicine Social Justice Committee and a representative on the Department of Medicine Health Equity Committee, her team led numerous projects focused on addressing structural inequities at BWH. Her clinical and research interests include investigating inequities in cardiovascular care and developing innovative strategies to promote health equity in cardiovascular care and outcomes, both abroad and domestically.
