Stephen Bonett, PhD, RN

Stephen Bonett, PhD, RN is a public health nurse researcher and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. His research is focused on identifying and addressing structural barriers to public health service delivery through community-partnered research that employs implementation science methods within a health equity framework. As a nurse clinician scientist, he aims to connect people to health and social resources through academic-clinical-community partnerships.

Dr. Bonett received his PhD in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 where he was a Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation, a Jonas Nursing Scholar, and a Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) fellow. He received his MA in Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania, and his BSN from the University of Pennsylvania.
